They were married May 27, 2005.Wrongful firingRichard and Janice Druzba, 6 Mountain View Court, Hamburg, has filed a civil action against Jeff Persing, dba, 443 Auto Sales, 2848 Blakeslee Blvd., Lehighton, alleging wrongful termination.The suit states Richard Druzba was employed by the defendant firm in the springtime of 2011 as an auto mechanic in the maintenance and service shop.On Feb. 7 the plaintiff injured his back while working in the shop, with the injury detailed in the suit.The suit claims Druzba began an aggressive rehabilitation regimen for the purpose of returning to work as quickly as possible. The plaintiff maintained communication with Persing, who advised the plaintiff he would be able to return to work after being cleared, the suit states.The plaintiff returned to work on March 22 and was immediately given the task by Persing to replace a motor in a minivan. While working on the van, in the presence of senior members of the staff observing, Persing allegedly enraged, entered the garage area criticizing the manner the plaintiff was installing the motor, the suit goes on to state.When he attempted to explain what he was doing, the suit states, Persing yelled at him that he was fired. The plaintiff was then told to leave.The suit alleges wrong termination and lost of consortium and seek damages not in excess of $50,000.
