Two charged with shoplifting at Wal-Mart are charged again

Two individuals charged with retail theft at Wal-Mart in Mahoning Township last September have been arrested again for retail theft at the store.

Justin Jacobacci, 30, of Jim Thorpe, and Jessalyn Rider, 20, of Lehighton, were allegedly involved in a theft at the store on May 7.Also charged in the May 7 incident was Anthony Jacobacci, 55, of Jim Thorpe.Police said on May 7, they issued a press release attempting to identify a male involved in a retail theft at Wal-Mart where an air conditioner valued at $419 was stolen.As a result of the investigation, police have identified the three previous mentioned persons who were involved in the theft.A second theft at the same store was reported on June 18th as a result of that investigation Police allege that Justin, and Anthony attempted to steal a home security system valued at over $400. Both fled the area before police arrived.On June 20, Anthony was taken into custody at his residence and arraigned on two separate complaints.In the first theft he was charged with retail theft, criminal conspiracy-retail theft, and receiving stolen property - all Misdemeanor's.In the second theft he was charged with retail theft and criminal conspiracy-retail theft, both Misdemeanors.District Judge Edward Lewis set bail at $20,000, 10 percent. Anthony was committed to the Carbon County Prison in lieu of bail.Mahoning Township Police have arrest warrants for both Justin, and Jessalyn. Anyone with information on their whereabouts should call 911.
