Two Tamaqua men were among seven defendants who entered guilty pleas in Schuylkill County court to criminal charges and were sentenced by Judge John E. Domalakes. They were:

Nathan Michael Zelinsky, 22, of 191 Owl Creek Road, Tamaqua, driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol, sentenced to serve 30 days to six months in the county prison, with credit for spending 30 days in a rehab center, fined $300, pay $100 to Substance Abuse Education (SAE) fund, $100 to MCARE fund, complete alcohol highway safety school and outpatient substance abuse treatment, perform 20 hours community service, and driver's license suspended 12 months and when restored to install an ignition interlock in his vehicle for 12 months which monitors if a driver has consumed alcohol beverages. Zelinsky was cited by Trooper Thomas Powell when stopped on Reynolds Road in Walker Township.James Wilson Freiling, 30, of 323 W. Broad St., Apt. 4, Tamaqua, DUI of alcohol, sentenced to serve 48 hours to six months in the county prison with the sentence to begin Tuesday, May 28, at 9 .m., fined $500, pay $100 to SAE fund, $50 to MCARE fund, attend safety school, perform 10 hours community service, and driver's license suspended 12 months. On a charge of failing to drive on roadway laned for traffic was fined $25 plus $50 costs. Freiling was cited by Coaldale Patrolman Joseph Krebs.Lisa Flowers, 39, Shenandoah, gave false report to police claiming she was assaulted by boyfriend, placed on probation 12 months, and pay $50 to CJEA fund. On charges of public drunkenness and disorderly conduct fined $50 plus $100 costs. Flowers was cited by Shenandoah Patrolman Michael O'Neill.Shannon Kay Housand, 32, Tower City, criminal trespass on property of Matthew Howard, 113 E. Grand Avenue, Tower City, ex-boyfriend, placed on probation 23 months, and pay $50 to CJEA fund. She was cited by Trooper Joel Zimmerman.Raymond Jordan, 20, Shenandoah, two counts of delivery of a controlled substance to confidential informant (CI) in 200 block on East Washington Street, Shenandoah, and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, sentenced to serve three to 12 months in the county prison with the sentence to commence Wednesday, June 12, at 9 a.m., followed by three years on probation when released from prison, pay $200 to SAE fund, $100 to CJEA fund, $226 to Bethlehem Regional Lab, and perform 40 hours community service. Jordan was cited by the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force.Katherine Mock, 33, Shenandoah, delivery of marijuana to CI in Shenandoah and possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, was given credit for serving 36 days in the county prison and placed on parole for 12 months. On a charge of recklessly endangering another person by being involved in an accident on Mount Olive Boulevard in West Mahanoy Township, was sentenced to serve 10 days to 11 months under house arrest, fined $200, pay $100 to SAE fund, $150 to CJEA fund, and perform hours community service. Mock was cited by the Schuylkill County Drug Task Force.Leroy Roy Royer, 57, Pottsville, two counts of delivery of a controlled substance (adderal) and one count each of criminal use of cell phone, possession of a controlled substance and illegally boarding a Pottsville Area school bus and threatening a student, placed on probation seven years, pay $200 to CJEA fund, $200 to SAE fund, and make restitution of $339 to Bethlehem Regional Lab. Royer was cited by Pottsville police.Each defendant must also pay a $50 per month supervision fee while on probation or parole.
