In our election preview of the Palmerton Area that ran in Tuesday's TIMES NEWS, we incorrectly listed the candidates for tax collector in the Borough of Palmerton. We apologize for the mistake.

The current tax collector in the borough, Diane Andreas, is retiring and not running for another four-year term.There is no Primary Election challenge for either party's nomination for the position. The Democratic candidate is Robyn M. Barbosa and the Republican candidate is Lisa Nemeth. The two will square off in the November General Election when the voter swill decide Andreas' successor.
