A total of 18 members of the Tamaqua Area High School "Raider" Band have been selected to perform at the 2013 Schuylkill County Band Festival. Female band members selected after the competitive audition process include: front row from left, Rachael Paisley, Julia Shellhamer, Kelsey Zamudio, Courtney Miller, Makayla Boyle, Cailee Bittner; and back row, Lauren Christ, Molly Betz, Sam Postupack, Lizzy Lehman, Vanessa Solt and Amanda Solt. The county band festival will be held March 15 at Shenandoah Valley High School. Guest conductor will be F. David Romines of Marywood University.
