Pvt. William E. Brown Jr., missing in action in Korea since July 29, 1950, was officially listed as killed in action as of that date, by Secretary of the Army in a telegram received today to the youth's parents, Mr. and Ms. William Brown Sr. of Weissport. Besides his parents, he is survived by a sister, Catherine, at home; a brother, Malcolm, Palmerton; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Moyer of Parryville; and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. George Brown of Weissport.
