The occupants of two vehicles escaped injury Sunday afternoon when involved in a crash in Towamensing Township. The accident occurred just before 5 p.m. at the intersection of Forest Inn and Stage Coach roads. One of the vehicles, a sport utility vehicle. came to rest on an embankment at the north east corner of the intersection while a car entered the east berm of Forest Inn road for a distance then re-entered the roadway crossing both lanes coming to rest along the south berm. State police at Lehighton are investigating the incident.
