The engagement of Sarah Elizabeth Geiger, daughter of James and Mary Geiger of Schuylkill Haven, to Matthew Allen Fees, son of Susan Garrett of Tuscarora, has been announced by her parents.

The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Blue Mountain High School and a 2011 graduate of East Stroudsburg University. She is employed as a remedial math teacher at Catapult Learning, Harrisburg.The prospective bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School and a 2011 graduate of Waynesburg University. He is employed at various area schools.An Oct. 19, 2013 wedding is being planned.
