Jim Hay and Emil Suarez each score four points during a 12-2 run to open the contest. Hay finishes with 14 points and 19 rebounds for the Blue Bombers, who advance to the state playoffs with the victory. Suarez also scores 14 points while George Donchez ends with a team-high 15. Palmerton, coached by Art George, also receives nine points and seven boards from Jan Krawchuk.
