Driver injured when Jeep overturns in gully in Barnesville

Emergency responders were called to State Road in Barnesville, Ryan Township, around 9 p.m. yesterday near the intersection of Pear Street, after the driver of a Jeep Liberty lost control, snapped a pole and overturned in a gully. The driver was not at the vehicle when emergency officials arrived. State police found the male driver in a nearby home on State Road. He was taken to the hospital via Ryan Township ambulance. Responding were Ryan Township Fire Company and others. No other information was available as of press time.
