A Monroe County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following a one vehicle crash.

State police at Fern Ridge said Timothy Quinn Parks, 25, of Saylorsburg, was operating a 1999 Saturn westbound on Evergreen Hollow Road, approaching SR115, in Chestnuthill Township, about 9:40 p.m. on Monday, March 4. He failed to stop for a posted stop sign and entered the intersection.Parks continued west across SR115 and his car impacted with a tree. He showed signs of intoxication and was placed under arrest for suspicion of DUI. He was taken to the county DUI center for a blood test.The DUI charge is pending the test results. Parks will be charged with several motor vehicle code violations, troopers added.
