Schuylkill crash

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported investigating a two-vehicle crash about 11:40 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 27, along Sweet Arrow Lake Road, in Washington Township.

Troopers said Carl T. Bohler, 27, of Tremont, was driving a 1996 Ford F250 truck westbound while Robert W. Drury, 55, of Pasadena, Md., was operating a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 truck pulling a camper, was eastbound.Bohler observed a puddle of water in his lane and moved toward the center in an attempt to go around it. After traveling slightly over the double yellow line, he was never able to negotiate a curve and get back in his lane of travel.As a result the driver side front of his truck impacted with the driver side front of the Silverado. After impact the Bohler continued west and after losing the driver side front wheel, his truck came to rest along the south berm. After impact Drury continued a short distance east and came to rest along the south berm.Bohler and passenger Nicholas Mindler, 27, of Tremont, were not injured. Drury sustained a minor injury but did not require immediate medical attention, while his wife, Carol Drury, 50, was not injured. Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.Troopers cited Bohler for driving on roadways laned for traffic.
