A male was taken to the hospital after losing control and crashing his Cadillac Escalade into trees along Interstate 81, near mile marker 134, around 10 p.m. last night in Delano Township. This was the fourth incident is the past month in this same area. Major construction work on Interstate 81 in the township will require single lane conditions for work related to the ongoing Interstate 81 Bridge Rehabilitation Project. Starting as soon as today, the southbound lane of Interstate 81 just past the McAdoo exit (Exit 138) will be shifted to the northbound side. Responding were Ryan Township Fire Company, Ryan Township Rescue/Ambulance, Delano Fire Company and McAdoo Fire Company. State Police are investigating.
