John W. Brown, president of the board of trustees of the Palmerton Hospital, announced that the hospital has been successful in recruiting an obstetrician/gynecologist who will practice in Palmerton. Shyam H. Devani, M.D., will begin his practice at the Palmerton Hospital on Monday, March 4. Prior to locating in Palmerton, Dr. Devani was in private practice in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His office will be located in the medical offices suite on the second floor of the hospital.
