Chance of snow/sleet/rain today

With a 60 percent chance of precipitation today, we should be experiencing some wet winter weather throughout the rest of today and throughout the evening.

The Weather Channel believes that the cloudy skies from Tuesday morning will give way to a few showers, wind and then heavy rain in the evening, with a possibility of a mix of snow/sleet and then turning to rain. We should expect about one to two inches of rain throughout the evening. When we get up on Wednesday morning, it should be mainly rain and drizzle. The rain showers should taper off by Wednesday afternoon, giving us a dry period, but with cloudy skies. So far this year we've had 1.49 inches of rain, which is low and our warmest temperature was 52 degrees. The average low for the year is 18 degrees and the average high is 40 degrees.
