Girl Scouts earn Lions Club Sight Night patches

Girl Scouts from Tamaqua service unit 310 collected hundreds of sunglasses for the Tamaqua Lions Club "Sight Night" with scouts. This was the fifth year the scouts participated in the drive. Over two dozen girl scouts who participated in the drive earned both a certificate and a badge for collecting 10 or more glasses each. First time collectors also received a special patch from the Tamaqua Lions Club. Nancy Paisley, service unit manager, pointed out how proud she and the parents were of all the scouts.
