Two area drivers were involved in a rear-end type crash in Lehigh County. Upper Macungie Township police said the accident occurred about 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12, on SR100 at the intersection with Tilghman St.

Police said Christian Gruber, of Lehighton, was southbound on 100 and approaching the intersection while Robert Taylor, of New Ringgold, was stopped on 100 at the intersection waiting for the light to turn green.Gruber failed to stop in time and rear-ended Taylor's vehicle, police said.No one was injured but both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.
