A teen driver was cited after a one vehicle crash that occurred about 7:53 a.m. on Feb. 5, along Interstate 78 in Salisbury Township, Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said Stephanie S. Chalk, 18, of Slatington, was driving a 2002 Mercury Cougar eastbound in the left lane of three lanes when traffic ahead of her stopped. Chalk attempted to change lanes and traveled out of control across the lanes of travel with the front of the Cougar impacting with a concrete wall off the right side of the road.After impact the Cougar continued traveling along the right shoulder and the rear portion of the car impacted with the concrete wall. Chalk complained of minor injuries to he left hand but did not require immediate medical attention. The car had to be towed from the scene.Troopers cited Chalk from driving a vehicle at a (un) safe speed.
