Allman Brothers founder Dickey Betts at the 'Peak

Dickey Betts, best known as a founding member of The Allman Brothers Band, is also a guitarist, singer and songwriter.

On Saturday night, Betts, ranked number 61 on the Rolling Stone Music's 100 Greatest Guitar Players list. will be performing at Penn's Peak in Jim Thorpe.Tickets are $27 in advance and $32 on Saturday.Opening will be native Pennsylvanian Scott Weis and the Scott Weis Band.Betts helped form The Allman Brothers band in 1969 and played second lead guitar behind Duane Allman.He is also known as one of the most influential guitar players of all times. After Duane Allman's death, Dickey became the band's sole guitarist.While with The Allman Brothers Band, he wrote the classic hits "Revival" and "Ramblin' Man." Dickey's first solo album, Highway Call, was released in 1974 and after the Allman's fell apart in 1976.
