Mr. and Mrs. Ronald E. Robertshaw of Tamaqua celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 29. They were married in SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Tamaqua, by the late Rev. William Vezius.

Mrs. Robertshaw is the former Donna Clemson, daughter of the late William and Frances Clemson.Mr. Robertshaw is the son of the late Clyde and Violet Robertshaw. He retired from the former Atlas Powder Company, Reynolds, where he was employed as a maintenance service technician for 34 years. After the plant closed, he worked as a utility plant operator/maintenance technician at St. Katherine's Medical Center, Ashland, retiring in 2007.The couple has one son, Ronald of Tamaqua, married to the former Karen Wadas. They also have two grandchildren, Carly Marie and Megan Elizabeth.A reception was held at the Tamaqua Italian Club, despite the snowy weather, attended by family and friends.
