Blaise Schweibinz, a resident at The Village at Palmerton, celebrated his 87th birthday, on Sept. 24.

He was born and raised in Lehighton. He and his late wife Evangeline had two sons. Terry and his wife Janet live in Slatington, and Larry and wife Jane live in Lehighton.Blaise is an active member of his community. He attends exercise, plays bingo, enjoys music programs, and plays cards almost daily.He still attends his home church at Trinity Lutheran in Bowmanstown and has been a choir member there for years.
