The Wilkes-Barre enforcement office of the state liquor control board conducted an age compliance check detail on Wednesday, Nov. 20, in Carbon and Monroe counties. A total of four establishments were checked with one found to be noncompliant meaning the establishment sold alcoholic beverages to underage individuals trained and supervised by the liquor bureau agents.

Three establishments were found to be in compliance meaning they did not sell alcoholic beverages to the supervised minors. Those in compliance were Penn Stroud Hotel Inc. & Galmary Corp., a joint venture, and Tru-Dot Inc, both of Stroudsburg, Monroe County; and Hickory Run Restaurant, in Kidder Township, Carbon County.
