B&H Chorale

The Bach and Handel Chorale will perform two Christmas concerts this year on Saturday, Dec. 7, to help concertgoers enjoy the true meaning of the Christmas season, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 21 Race St., Jim Thorpe.

The first will be at noon and the second will be at 3 p.m., during the Olde Time Christmas Celebration.The chorale will begin with the traditional Candlelight Procession singing "Adeste Fidelis" and "O Come All Ye Faithful."Maestro Randall D. Perry, conductor and founder, will perform "In Dulci Jubilo" by J.S. Bach on the organ.The second half of the performance will include: "Sing, O Sing this Blessed Morn" composed by John Carter, "Cold and Still the Night," composed by MaryLynn Lightfoot; and "For Unto Us A Child Is Born" from Handel's "Messiah."Perry will close with his arrangement of "O Holy Night" on piano.The traditional Carol Sing with the audience will include: "Angels We Have Heard High."
