Pleasant Valley fell to powerful Whitehall in its regular season finale on Friday.


Pleasant Vy-Whitehall

A big first inning lifted Whitehall to a 9-3 non-conference victory over Pleasant Valley.

Whitehall, the Lehigh Valley Conference champion, scored five times in the first and never looked back.

Polanco, Sinatore and Miller all had a hit and two runs scored for the Zephyrs (20-2).

For Pleasant Valley (13-8), Jordan Caffrey had two hits and scored a run. Ariel Mejia had a hit, a run and an RBI.

The Bears managed just three runs in the game despite getting eight hits and benefitting from eight Whitehall errors.

Pleasant Valley-ES South

Jenna Scheller stuck out seven to lead Pleasant Valley to a 17-2 win.

Sarah Margretta had three hits for the Lady Bears, while Julie Huha and Alyssa Kotzmann had two each.

Pleasant Valley finishes the season with an 11-5 overall record.
