Palmerton Borough Council President Terry Costenbader offered a clarification to a story that ran last month stating the borough had chosen to end its contract with the West End Fire Company. After that meeting, Costenbader told the TIMES NEWS part of the reason why council agreed to the measure was because "They're [the fire company] out of money." What Costenbader meant to say was the fire company was out of money the borough had given them.
