Retail theft incidents probed

State police at Schuylkill Haven reported on two retail theft incidents at a Schuylkill County department store.

Troopers said Kimberly Minor, 39, of Pottsville, was cited for retail theft for an incident at Boscov's Department Store in the Fairlane Village Mall, in Norwegian Township, that occurred about 7:50 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7. Minor was observed concealing items in a plastic bag that was located in a cart. She left the store without paying for them, but was stopped by store security. The value of the items was $360.64.

A second incident occurred at the store about 6:58 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 6. An unknown female concealed various articles of clothing while in the store and left without paying for them. The female was observed entering a white car located in the front of the store and fled the scene.
