Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway is offering a cash reward of $1,000 for any information that leads to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for the burglary at the Lehigh Gorge ticket booth in Downtown Jim Thorpe.

This incident occurred sometime between the evening hours Tuesday Nov. 26 to the early morning hours on Friday Nov. 29.The Reading and Northern Railroad Police Department is requesting assistance from anyone who may have information in regard to this incident. The railroad asks that anyone with information contact the Reading and Northern Railroad Police at 610-562-9403 or Jim Thorpe Police at 570-325-4995.Anyone with any information can remain anonymous and persons do not have to give their name or any identifying information to be eligible for the reward of $1,000.
