Palmerton's boys and girls and the Northwestern girls picked up sweeps in Colonial League track action on Tuesday.

Blue Mountain-Jim ThorpeBlue Mountain swept Jim Thorpe in Schuylkill League action, with the boys falling 82-68 and the girls dropping a 98-52 decision.The Blue Mountain boys used strong performances in the field events, taking the shot put, discus and javelin en route to the victory. Khaaliq Lynch (100, long jump) was the only multiple event winner for the OlympiansThe Blue Mountain girls also did well in the field events, as they too took shot put, javelin and discus wins.
