The local post of the American Legion in East Mauch Chunk received a new charter from National Headquarters. As it is a customary procedure for Legion Posts to adopt the name of the first serviceman or woman who made the suprement sacrifice of the community in which the post is established, it had adopted the name of Charles J. Dolon, in honor of the First World War serviceman, and will now have an additional name under the new charter, with Robert L. Jones, who was the first serviceman in World War II to make the ultimate sacrifice.
