Maura Kelly, daughter of Kevin and Pat Kelly, Weatherly, has been named Senior of the Month for November at Weatherly Area High School.

Maura is the president of the Science Olympiad team, and the treasurer of the high school band. She is a member of Weatherly Area High School's chapter of the National Honor Society, the Carbon County Band, the yearbook staff, and the Envirothon team. Additionally, Maura serves as videographer/announcer for soccer games, and has performed in the high school's Variety Show.Maura was chosen this past August to be the 2012 Carbon County Fair Queen. In the community, she is involved in the Summer Recreation Program at Eurana Park, where she works as a recreational assistant, and she also volunteers at Our Lady of Lourdes church. Maura dances at Faberge Follies, where she is a dance teacher as well as a member of the first edition competition team. Maura recently danced with the world-renowned Moscow Ballet Company in their local performance of The Nutcracker.
