Susan M. Featro will perform a concert of holiday music on Sunday, December 16, at 2:30 p.m. at the Tamaqua Community Arts Center, 125 Pine Street, in Tamaqua.

This concert is a benefit for the Tamaqua Community Arts Center and the Tamaqua Blue Raider Foundation, which funds special projects in the Tamaqua Area School District. Featro, a graduate of Tamaqua Area High School and now a teacher in the Tamaqua Area School District, stated her excitement in doing this concert as a benefit for the Tamaqua Blue Raider Foundation and in support of the arts in her hometown.The Tamaqua Community Arts Center, which held it's grand opening in June 2012, features performances and arts education every week. Featro has also released her CD titled "Voice Lifted." The December 16th performance will feature her playing the piano, organ, guitar and singing a full program of familiar carols and some special holidays pieces.
