Tamaqua police have charged two women in connection with a theft that occurred on Nov. 22.

Patrolman Peter Wysochansky was dispatched to 328 W. Broad St. and spoke with Adam Spino, who was in the process of moving into the neighborhood. A glass top table, two wooden chairs, and a chandelier were all missing from the porch. Several bags on the porch had been gone through and disrupted.A neighbor came forward and told police he witnessed two women taking the items and carrying them to 14 S. Lehigh St. The women were identified as Crystal Ann Motzer, 23, and Kate Anne Sayuk.Both women were charged with theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.The missing items were valued at $450.
