State police at Frackville are seeking the owner of a Poulan chain saw that has been recovered with other items stolen by thieves in the Girardville area.

Troopers said the saw was recovered on May 15. The individuals involved were also associated with items stolen in Port Carbon.Efforts to trace the owner of the saw have been unsuccessful, troopers said. There are certain specific owner applied markings on the saw concerning its purchase date.Anyone who has had a Poulan saw stolen and can identify its ownership can call troopers at (570) 874-5300.
