Lansford police give bikes to Salvation Army

Not wanting to throw them away, Lansford Police donated many lost and found or confiscated bikes left in their storage bay during the past two years. Members of the Tamaqua Salvation Amy are hoping volunteers can come forward and help repair any used bikes they receive. The Salvation Army will provide the tools and supplies. If you can help, please contact Salvation Army volunteer Frank Tongue at (570) 668-0410. Lansford Police Chief John Turcmanovich and officer Christopher Ondrus load stored bikes into the back of a Tamaqua Salvation Army truck.
