5th and 6th grade students at the L.B. Morris Elementary School in Jim Thorpe attended a safety program called "Survival 101" in which the Chief of the Jim Thorpe Police Department Joe Schatz and Carol Alonge of the North Central Highway Safety Network spoke to them about many aspects of automobile safety with the number one safety tip being pure and simple "Buckle Up".
