Stephen Gitch, 49, of Kunkletown, has been arrested by state police at the Lehighton for driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol.

Police said the charge stems from a one-vehicle accident at 8:30 p.m. Nov. 18 on the Kunkletown Road, near Silver Springs Boulevard in Eldred Township, Monroe County.Pollice said he was operating a 2000 Jeep that went out of control and overturned. No other details of the incident were provided by police.
