Santa arrives

Santa Claus will be arriving in Palmerton and will greet the children in the Palmerton Borough Park on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 1 p.m.Knitting ClubThe Knitting Club will meet at the Palmerton Area Library on Monday, Dec. 3, from 6-8 p.m. The club is free and open to anyone interested in knitting and crocheting of all skill levels. The club meets the first and third Monday of each month.Children's Christmas PartyFrom 6:30-7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 11, a Children's Christmas Party will be held at the Palmerton Area Library. Kids ages 3 through grade 3 are invited to come in their pajamas to hear stories and music, make a craft and enjoy snacks. The event is sponsored by the library's Teen Group.Palmerton Camera ClubAt 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 13, the Palmerton Camera Club will meet at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 502 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton.
