A Brockton man has been cited by Tamaqua police after apparently celebrating a little too much on Thanksgiving Day.

Officers were dispatched to the area of the Turkey Hill Minute Mart at 11:20 p.m. for multiple reports of an extremely intoxicated male. The man was reportedly causing a nuisance, swearing at people, weaving around and falling. Officers found Christopher Serina Jr., 32, of 44 Valley St., covered with dirt and visibly intoxicated. Serina was cited for public drunkenness and transported to his home.
