Lehighton Area Lioness Lions Club will be sponsoring their annual Breakfast with Santa at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at the Lehighton Recreation Center, Eighth Street, Lehighton.

There will one seating only which will be limited. The event includes a visit and gift from Santa, candy, balloon, and breakfast.Bring your camera for photos.In addition to the breakfast, a basket raffle will be sponsored by the Environmental Services Department of Blue Mountain Health System. Carbon Model Railroad Society will again have a train display for the children. Tickets for the basket raffle will be drawn at the event.Children are encouraged to write letters to Santa and place them in his mailbox while at the breakfast.If a self addressed stamped envelope is included, a return letter will be mailed to each child from Santa and there is no cost to do this.Children will also be able to greet Mrs. Claus and sign up for Santa's "Naughty or Nice List."The Doctor from Penn's Peak Radio, sponsored by Gothard Realty, will bring Christmas cheer by providing DJ services at this event.This breakfast is one of the largest events of its kind in the area.For more information or to obtain tickets, call (610) 377-1053, (570) 325-8685 or (610) 377-1121 by Dec. 1.
