State police at Frackville are investigating the theft from a vending machine at the Schuylkill Mall in New Castle Township.

Troopers said mall security discovered that somone cut a lock off a vending machine at the Kmart store and removed about $30.The incident occurred sometime between Tuesday, Nov. 13, at 8 p.m. and Wednesday at 7:34 a.m.
