Pocono Mountain Regional police were dispatched to an intoxicated male refusing to leave a residence inside A Pocono Country Place at Stoney Hollow Drive and SR196.

Upon arrival officers identified Armani Aiken as the intoxicated male who been disobeying verbal commands and yelling profanities at police. Aiken resisted arrest and was subdued after a brief struggle. While transporting Aiken to the Monroe County Correctional Facility he tried to remove the handcuffs and was trying to get at police through the vehicle's barrier. Aiken was removed from the vehicle and handcuffed after he spit saliva and blood on officers.Aiken was charged with aggravated harassment by a prisoner, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and public drunkenness.
