A Schuylkill County driver is facing a charge of driving under the influence (DUI) following a one-vehicle crash that occurred about 1:16 a.m. along Camp Road in Washington Township.

State police at Schuylkill Haven said Kyle A. Fehr, 22, of Pottsville, was driving a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee southbound when he failed to negotiate a left curve causing him to lose control.The Jeep began to barrel roll end over end through the two lanes of travel before striking a large tree on the east berm. After impact with the tree the Jeep spun clockwise in a southwest direction, re-entered the northbound lane where it came to rest facing west on all four tires.Fehr, who sustained a minor injury, was transported to the Schuylkill Medical Center-S. Jackson St., Pottsville, for a blood test. The DUI charge is pending the test results, troopers added.
