A delegation of teachers from the intermediate unit at the Panther Valley Middle School attended the school board meeting and expressed deep concerns about large class sizes and the adverse effect they have on the educational process. Marian Reinbold said there are 33 students in second grade and 34 in fourth grade. She said there are 34 to 39 students in reading groups. Fourth-grade teacher Carla Mikovich pointed out there are 30 students in one kindergarten class. "We're overflowing," was principal Russell Carson's comment.
