A hit-and-run driver involved in an incident in Schuylkill County is being sought. State police at Schuylkill Haven said the incident occurred about 5:25 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 5, at the intersection of state routes 443 and 183, in Wayne Township.

Troopers said a vehicle was traveling southbound on 183 and was in the left turn lane waiting to turn left onto 443 to go eastbound. At this time Heather A. Homa, 36, of Auburn, driving a Hummer H3, was northbound on 183.Troopers said the other driver turned left directly in front of Homa. The front right bumper area of the Hummer struck the passenger side rear bumper/fender of the other vehicle.After impact the other driver fled the scene east on Route 443. Homa was not injured.
