October 31, 1957 Coaldale tallies two second-quarter touchdowns and goes on to post an 18-7 win over Mahanoy City. The Tigers open the scoring with a 77-yard drive that results in Greg Posta's nine-yard TD run. Wilbur Berger intercepts a pass and returns it to the two-yard line, from where John Horoschak blasts over to extend Coaldale's lead.
