A Tamaqua driver is facing charges after he allegedly left the scene of an accident.

State police at Frackville said Seth G. Mellor, 21, was driving a 1995 Chevrolet Cavalier northbound on Reynolds Road, in Walker Township, about 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26.After negotiating a right hand curve the car crossed the center line and traveled onto the west berm.The car then struck a tree. Troopers said Mellor then left the scene and did not report the crash.He will be cited, troopers added.
