An elderly Tamaqua woman was killed and two others were injured about 1:45 p.m. in a two: vehicle crash at the Ginther intersection in Rush Township.

The Lehigh County coroner's office identified the deceased as Adeline Dallas, 86, of 458 E. Broad St. She was a passenger in the car driven by Joseph Hoden, 59, of 129 W. Cottage Ave., Tamaqua. Both were flown by MediEvac helicopter to the Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. Mrs. Dallas was pronounced dead at 3:33 p.m. An autopsy was scheduled.
