The Summit Hill Heritage Center on West Hazard Street in the hilltop community is holding a pair of events celebrating the spirit of Halloween this weekend starting on Friday evening at 7 p.m. when the Heritage Center's annual evening of ghost stories takes place. This free lecture is given by local historian David Wargo with special guest Kenneth Forrest who will present Halloween ghost stories and readings during this special evening.

"The ghost stories are all local folklore from in and around Summit Hill as well as some personal experiences," said Wargo.As a special guest, local medium, author and spiritual minister Michelle Gallagher returns with an encore of her lecture about the dangers of paranormal phenomena. "Michelle gave a wonderful lecture and we have had many requests for her return," said Heritage Center President Debra Ranck. "We are excited and grateful that she agreed to return to share more with us."Wargo and Forrest's presentation begins at 7 p.m. and the paranormal phenomenon lecture will start around 8:15 p.m. with Gallagher.On Sunday, the Center is holding its second annual Black Hat Tea at 2 p.m. The Halloween tradition will feature a large menu of various foods and goodies along with varieties of tea.
