Four area residents were among 20 defendants who had their parole or probation revoked by Schuylkill County judges. They were:

Paul David Weirich, 25, of 105 Miner St., Coaldale, had his parole revoked by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin and he was remanded to the county prison to serve the balance of his sentence and the 331 days of liberty were disallowed and added to his sentence which extended the maximum time for his release to Feb. 8, 2014. He is eligible to re-apply to request parole not before Feb. 3, 2013. Weirich pleaded guilty in April 2011 to resisting arrest and disorderly conduct.Alysa C. Frey, 22, of 15 S. Tamaqua Drive, Tamaqua R.D., was removed by Senior Judge D. Michael Stine from the Accelerated Rehabilative Disposition (ARD) probation program and her case was returned to the criminal trial list and she faces trial on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia as charged by Tamaqua Patrolman Thomas Rodgers. The ARD program is reserved for first offenders. The violation was failure to report to her probation officer of a new arrest on a drug charge.Joseph Robert Holland, 31, of 223 Rowe St., Tamaqua, had his probation revoked by Judge John E. Domalakes and he was re-sentenced to serve three to 12 months in the county prison with credit for 34 days served. Holland pleaded guilty last April 12 to defiant trespass on property in Pottsville.John Leroy Smith, 23, of Valley St., New Philadelphia, had his probation revoked by President Judge William E. Baldwin and he was re-sentenced to serve two to 12 months in the county prison with credit for 57 days of time served and when released on parole to refrain from alcohol consumption and submit to drug and alcohol evaluation. He had pleaded guilty in June 2010 to possession of a controlled substance.Ralph M. Rumbel Jr., 51, Shenandoah, had his probation revoked by Judge Charles M. Miller and was re-sentenced to serve 57 days to six months in the county prison.. He had pleaded guilty on August 2010 to driving under the influence (DUI) of alcohol in Shenandoah and was placed on probation.Alex Joseph Fogarty, 22, Lost Creek, West Mahanoy Township, had his probation revoked by Senior Judge Stine and was re-sentenced to serve 62 days to 12 months in the county prison and since he served the minimum was released again on parole with a special condition to be evaluated by the mental health and drug and alcohol agencies. Fogarty had pleaded guilty last May 20 to drug charges and was placed on probation for 23 months after serving 28 days in prison.Kevin Paul Elenchin, 20, Pine Grove, who was serving a sentence of 12 months on probation under the ARD program had the program terminated by Judge Stine and now must stand trial on a DUI charge. Had he completed his probation his record would have been cleared. The court ruled he violated his probation by using illegal drugs.Rodney Alan McDonald, 20, Schuylkill Haven, had his ARD probation revoked by Judge Stine for failing to notify his probation officer of a new arrest. His case was returned to the trial list to face charges of theft from a motor vehicle. On Jan. 20, 2011, he was placed in the program to serve 24 months on probation.Travis Ray Lucas, 28, Donaldson, Tremont Township, had his ARD probation revoked by Judge Stine for volating terms consisting of failure to report on scheduled time to his probation officer, found in possession of illegal drugs, and failed to comply with performing community service. Lucas failed to appear at his revocation hearing and Stine ordered a bench warrant issued for his arrest. He now faces trial on charges of stalking and harassment.Tyeke James Holcomb, 21, Lancaster, had his parole revoked by Judge Stine for failing to report a new arrest and he was recommitted to the county prison to serve his original sentence and his liberty of 69 days was disallowed. He had pleaded guilty in September 2011 to possession of drug paraphernalia and underage drinking and after serving 20 days in the prison was released on parole for 12 months. He was cited by Schuylkill Haven police.Linda Lee Todd, 29, Philadelphia, had her probation revoked by Judge Baldwin and she was remanded to the county prison to serve out her sentence and 550 days of liberty were disallowed and added to her maximum time. She is given credit for serving 32 days in the county prison. Todd pleaded guilty in December 2010 to charges of burglary of Smoky Joe's Tobacca Shop in Ashland. She was brought into the prison last Aug. 27 on a bench warrant.Richard Arlin Harner, 25, Pottsville, had his parole revoked by Judge Baldwin and he was recommitted to the county prison to serve the balance of his sentence and his 246 days of liberty is disallowed and added to his maximum time. He was told the court would not consider any application for parole for three monts. Harner pleaded guilty to theft of a cell phone belonging to another student at the McCann School of business.Sarah Elizabeth Werner, 26, Pottsville, had her probation revoked by Judge Baldwin and she was re-sentenced to serve three to 12 months in the county prison. She had pleaded guilty last Feb. 22 to making a false report to police about stolen items which were never stolen.Michael Erik Sleva, 30, Pottsville, had his probation revoked by Judge John E. Domalakes and he was re-sentenced to serve two to 12 months in the county prison. He pleaded guilty to retail theft and was sentenced last May to serve a probation period. He received credit for 14 days served in confinement.David Lee Wilson, 26, Pine Grove, had his parole revoked by Judge Domalakes. He failed to appear at his revocation hearing and was sentenced that upon his apprehension he will be remanded to the county prison to serve the balance of his sentence. Wilson pleaded guilty in August 2010 to possession of a controlled substance. This was his second revocation and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.Mark A. Yacovelli, 42, Mahanoy City, had his parole revoked by Judge Domalakes and he was remanded to the county prison to serve the balance of his sentence and 90 days of liberty are disallowed extending his maximum day for release to March 15, 2013. The court told him he is eligible for re-parole on Dec. 4, 2012, if he is accepted into a drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility. Yacovelle pleaded guilty last June to possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia. His parole violation was he tested postive for illegal drugs.William Leroy Miller Sr., 53, Pottsville, had his parole revoked by Judge Domalakes and he was remanded to the county prison to serve the balance of his sentence with 975 days of liberty disallowed which were added to his sentence which extends his maximum time for release to Sept. 15, 2016. He received credit for 16 days served. However, he is eligible to apply for re-parole after serving six months and the court would consider an earlier parole if he is accepted in a special probation program. Back in December 2008 Miller pleaded guilty to DUI of alcohol and after a period of one year confirnement was released on parole for five years.James David Hairston, 31, Pottsville, had his probation revoked by Judge Dolbin and was re-sentenced to serve four to 12 months in the county prison with no credit for time served. He pleaded guilty in September 2011 to simple assault.Lauren Wicker, 24, Shenandoah, had her probation revoked by Judge Dolbin and was re-sentenced to serve six to 12 months in a state correctional facility. Wicker pleaded guilty in September 2011 to a hit-and-run accident in the Fairlane Village Mall parking lot.
