Mr. and Mrs. Robert L. Klotz Sr. of Lehighton recently celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary. They were married on Sept. 28, 1963 by the late Rev. Engle.

Mrs. Klotz is the former Mary Ann Labenburg, daughter of the late Gordon Angstead and the late Ellen Angstead. Her husband is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Klotz Sr.Prior to retiring Mr. Klotz was self-employed at B&B Automotive in Lehighton. Mrs. Klotz is employed by the TIMES NEWS.The couple have three children: a son Robert Jr. and Susan; daughter Melissa, wife of Scott Fairchild; and son, Timothy, husband of Tina.They have 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
